The 8th edition of the China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair – Shenzhen today sees its grand opening. Running until 12 March 2010 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, this year’s Shenzhen Fair features over 260 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions: China, Cyprus, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United States, making the Fair truly an international event.

Gold Day

"Gold Day" hosted by the China Gold Association will take place today. It will be marked with two fascinating sessions: the “Gold Glitters: An Update on China Gold Jewellery” and the “New Product Presentation of “Gold Glitters.” These events will present the latest trend in China’s gold jewellery market by means of informative presentations and a jewellery fashion show.

What's next?

The Fair addresses more than the sourcing needs of buyers. Through a series of special events, participants will have the opportunity to closely interact with industry peers.

The Fair opens to jewellery trade buyers and the public.

-   Admission fee for public visitor is RMB 50 per person.
-   Visitors under 18 will not be admitted.
-   Local visitors must present a China identity card while overseas visitors must present a valid passport upon registration.
-   Visitor registration counters close half an hour before the fair ends.
