The 19th Shanghai International Hospitality Equipment & Supply Expo (Hotelex Shanghai 2010) ended successfully on 1st April at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). A special show zone was set up in this year’s event that covered 108 sqm. Series of activities including Cooking Class, Handmade Chocolates, Tasting Wine Course and British Tea Time were presented which attracted a lot of food and cooking lovers.

Appealing interactive activities were displayed at this show. Mr Fan Kang from “Li Jin Ji Industry sales and R&D dept” taught the visitors how to make three delicious dishes. Brief and funny making steps made the visitors’ eager to have a try and ask for cooking tips.
Sweet, Bitter, Creamy, all kinds of chocolate melting in your mouth. Professional chocolate taster like Mr Alex from “Chalet Suisse” brought the chocolate chafing dish and taught a new way of eating chocolate in a pleasurable way.
Tasting Wine Course & British Tea Time
Wine represents an elegant attitude of life, each time is unique and enjoyable. People enjoyed the British tea-time and learned more about Tea etiquette for every culture. As for the wine course, people learned a lot about wine such as; grape variety, vintage technique, wine regio…etc. Many people lack the knowledge about wine and tea therefore these issues were covered during the show like; “How to be more professional when tasting wine and tea?” and How to get the professional guidance?”. The audience was very attentive to the guests’ intellectual speeches. The four-day activity was packed with enthusiastic audience which was impressed by the topics and the participants were looking forward to the next time’s event.
