Recap of the show
The 10th China Clean Expo and 2009 International Indoor Environment Technology & Product Exhibition have successfully closed on April 2, 2009. This edition of CCE was held in Hall E6 of Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The 10th CCE covers an exhibition area of 11,500 sqm, which has thus staged itself as the biggest show of its kind in Asia.
The exhibits came from Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Demark, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan, etc, covering different categories of the cleaning industry with excellent quality. The number of visitor reached 6,287, which is a 14.3% increase compared with 5,698 visitors in 2008. Among all the visitors, 242 overseas buyers visited the 10th CCE, which marks a 7.4% increase than CCE 2008.
In addition to a grand show of cleaning products, the 10th CCE also serves as a platform for exhibitors and visitors to exchange their views and experience by various activities. During the exhibition, China Clean Conference presented 8 sessions of speech on various technologies and equipment of cleaning industry. Onsite demonstrations enable visitors draw their conclusion of the performance of machines from real operation.
Sharing resources of 3 shows
In 2007, CMP Sinoexpo staged its three shows, Hotelex, ExpoBuild and CCE together in Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The co-location and concurrence of the 3 shows marked not only an annual grand gathering of their respective industries but also an attempt to connect different industries while maintaining respective identities.
This time, the three shows staged together on March 31, 2009. The unprecedented size (130,000 sqm) of the shows extended the influence of CCE. Totally 76,382 visitors visited the shows from such business sectors as hotel, properties management, cleaning contractor, industrial facilities, office building, hospital, public facilities, etc.
The co-location of the 3 shows brings more professional buyers to exhibitors and thus serves as a one-stop platform for business opportunities and sourcing. CCE is also benefited to become an international cleaning exhibition.
Grand scale
The size of exhibition area and the number of visitor both hit record high, which proves the growth of the show. Many exhibitors increased the size of booth at CCE 2009, and the largest booth covers approx. 250 sqm.
The diagram shows that domestic exhibitors outnumber overseas exhibitors. As an export-oriented expo, CCE is not only a showcase of advanced overseas cleaning technology and equipment, but also a stage for domestic companies to present their achievement.
As for exhibits, equipment, chemicals and tools account for a major part. An increase of the proportion of spare parts and new technologies indicates that China’s cleaning industry is becoming mature.
From the very first day of the show, visitors were lining for registration. During the 3-day expo, altogether there are 6,287 visitors from home and abroad. The total number is a 14% increase than CCE 2008 while overseas visitors increased by 7.4%.
The 10th CCE activities
● China Clean Conference
China Clean Conference is a featuring activity of CCE. During the 3-day exhibition, China Clean Conference presented 7 sessions of speech on various technologies and equipment of cleaning industry with the assistance of computer slides and video clips.
● The Selective Area
In order to strengthen the exchange of international cleaning industry as well as to showcase the innovations of various manufacturers’, China Clean Expo open up a special product display area----The Selective Area, which display the latest trends and most innovative and quality products of branded companies.
● Onsite demonstration
In every edition of China Clean Expo, the organizer will have an area for onsite demonstration. This time is with no exception. Totally 9 sessions of demonstration showed the cutting-edge technology and impressed visitors with real products.
● German Day
The German Pavilion’s at CCE 2009 is a big highlight of the show and the organizer appreciate the support of the German companies. To serve the German enterprises even better, we has arranged the 2nd day of the exhibition as the “German Day”, multiple demonstrations and conferences had been held by German companies.

96% of the exhibitors are content with the quality of visitors. Up to 94% of the exhibitors are satisfied with the organization of the expo. More than half of the exhibitors agreed to register and 63.6% have made onsite booking of CCE 2010 in Shanghai from March 29th to 31st next year, which is believed to make new achievements.
