The Grand Opening of 16^th China International Office Furniture Expo (OFE 2010) will be held on September 7-10, 2010 in Shanghai New International Expo Center. As a pioneer in the field of office furniture exhibition with 16 years of experience, OFE 2010 has grown up to be one of the world largest and most professional and prestigious international exhibition of office furniture.

As a peer leader, OFE 2010 will not only be a simple product showcase to everyone. The mission is to convey the latest information and cutting-edge office environment philosophy, publishing the latest and most sophisticated office furniture products and providing a broad platform for China’s large office furniture manufacturers.

Audience Statistics 2009

Domestic Audience – 46,000 visits; Overseas Audience – 15,000 visits; 9% annual increase rate.

As an annual industry event, OFE 2009 attracted high-quality buyers from 160 countries and regions, 10 countries more compared with the previous year. The top 20 overseas buyers were from: Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam. A total of more than 42% of overseas buyers from Asian countries (including the Middle East), 26% from Europe, 14% from North America, 10% from Australia and Oceania, and 4% from South America and Central America, 3% from Africa and 1% from the rest of the world.

Despite the economic crisis in 2008 & 2009, China's furniture export market was seriously affected, too. However, overseas visitors increased by 9.2% in 2009 from 13,600 to 14,852, dropped only 400 from the export peak period in 2007. China International Furniture Expo contributed as a decisive force to global office furniture market’s recovery.

Office Furniture Show area: 30,000 m2 in total, increased by 25% compared with 2009.

The exhibition organizers are planning the display layout based on product classification. Theme classified, integrated resources. The exhibition will show a humanized model to provide human-based services to professional buyers home and abroad. Sheng’ao, Guanmei, Oulin, Youdian, Baoyou, Rongye, Zhongtai Property, Gaosheng, Haote, PATRA, Fujia, Senchuan and other high-quality exhibitors displayed their latest product & design innovations.

The economic crisis accelerated the transition of China furniture industry, speeding up the industrial upgrading and the pace of restructuring. As a green industry, China's furniture industry is entering into a healthy, stable and sustainable  era.

After the financial crisis, China office furniture manufacturing industry, felt opportunities in domestic emerging markets. How to seize these opportunities in first time? The new office era will be of what kind?

OFE 2010 will remain a show for all office targeted buyers and show the latest office furniture products, office environment concepts and exciting live events. OFE 2010 organizers will encourage businesses to showcase their green, new & innovative products, reducing environment-unfriendly material, low recycling rate and old-style display products. We’ll make endeavor to build a green, aesthetic, functional and economic new office era.

This will be OFE’s last appearance in Shanghai New International Expo Center Hall, as the exhibition will be officially moved to the new exhibition centre at the Shanghai World Expo in 2011. With a more favorable exhibition environment, OFE will present a new spectacular event in office furniture industry with a new hit of audience.
