FMC China 2011 Achieved a Great Success!

745 Exhibitors  59,000 SQM  30,327 Trade Buyers

The 17th Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China (FMC China 2011) has been successfully concluded on 17 September 2011. The exhibition last for four days from 14-17 September 2011.

FMC China 2011 staged in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) for the first time this year and become a professional and independent exhibition. FMC attracted nearly 745 domestic and overseas exhibitors from 40 countries and regions, including Chinese mainland, Hong Kong Region, Taiwan Region, USA, Germany, Singapore, Italy, Malaysia, France, Thailand, Japan, etc.

Three Pavilions - Taiwan Pavilion, France Pavilion and America Pavilion and Seven Associations & Groups - European Woodworking Machinery Association (EUMABOIS), Italian Woodworking Machinery Association (ACIMALL), German Engineering Federation (VDMA), Shanghai Timber Association (STTA), Malaysia Furniture Entrepreneur Association (MFEA), Mexican Furniture Association and Vietnam Furniture Delegation, attended FMC exhibition.

This year, FMC China attracted 30,327 trade buyers from 30 provinces and 111 countries and regions, such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, America, Malaysia, Korea, Australia, Russia, Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Germany and Italy, etc. The quantity and quality of visitors has been improved significantly.

4,521 overseas visitors came to China for FMC exhibition, which has an increase of 12% compared to last year. In total, 37.2% came from Asian countries, 16.8% from Europe, 16.5% from North America, 7.9% from Oceania, 4.5% from South America, and 3.3% from Africa. Moreover, 11,483 visitors from decision-maker levels attended ‘FMC Premium 2011’, a show for high-end suppliers of Furniture Components and Raw Materials.

Exhibitors and visitors have the highly appreciations for FMC China 2011. ‘FMC China attracts our attention because the superior geographic position and international influence.’ said Mr. Wang, the General Manager of Taizhou Chenguang Vehicle Co., Ltd. ‘We hope to promote our brand culture through this platform and get more business opportunities.’ Mr. Bao, the Equipment Supervisor/Engineer of Shanghai Jiangfeng Furniture Co., Ltd said, ‘We attend furniture exhibition every year, especially FMC China 2011. FMC offers us a great platform to find new products, know about the new technology, and accept the new information.’

 Outlook of FMC China 2012

FMC China 2012 will be held from 11-14 September 2012 in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (SWEECC).

Hall 4 of SWEECC which is 15,000 sqm will be used in FMC China 2012. The total exhibition area will become 70,000 sqm altogether.

Cabinet & Wardrobe Fittings and Furniture Lightings will be regarded as new categories of FMC China 2012 and be arranged well for exhibitors.
