FMC China 2011 will launch with Various Onsite Events
Less than three months before ‘Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China 2011 (FMC China 2011) ‘and ‘FMC Premium 2011’ that will staged in Shanghai Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC) from September 14th to 17th, concurrently with ‘Furniture China 2011’ in Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).
During FMC exhibition，a large number of free professional and interactive events will be conducted for exhibitors and visitors in order to build a industry-wide platform of woodworking machinery and furniture raw materials.
Event 1 - Professional Seminars & Forums
Industry leading enterprises and media are invited to share opinions of industry development trend, and to promote their new products and technologies.
Event 2 – FMC New Products, New technologies & New Materials Display in SNIEC
FMC new products and technologies will be showed in the specific areas of Furniture China 2011 in SNIEC, that allow direct interaction between 2,500 furniture exhibitors and all the furniture trade buyers.
Event 3 – ‘Build Our Green Home Land’ Theme Salon in SWEECC
With the topic ‘How to purchase eco-products?’, organizer will arrange the relevant exhibitors to show the visitors on how to improve purchasing skills on the spot, as well as to expand their influence during FMC.
Event 4 - Exhibitors Onsite Product Demonstrations
Exhibitors will introduce their products by special promotion methods onsite to attract more visitors’ attention.

Advertisement provided by exhibitors will be showed on LED screen in SWEECC.

After a short break, China Pavilion will be reopened and welcome visitors again, together with five popular halls, namely Saudi Arabia Pavilion, Italy Pavilion, Spain Pavilion, Russian Pavilion and France Pavilion.
2011 Shanghai Grand Carnival Returns Back
Shanghai Grand Carnival is coming back after a six-year interval and it will be held in the Expo Site in Pudong from July 23 to October 30. It will last for 100 days, the longest run in its history and its venue of more than 80,000 square meters will be the largest in the world.
Shanghai World Expo Site Becomes a Sub-CBD in Shanghai
After the Expo, the Shanghai World Expo site will be built as an urban public activity area including exhibition service, cultural exchanges, public recreation and other integrated functions. It will become the fifth Sub-CBD in Shanghai after Xujiahui, Zhenru, Wujiaochang and Huamu Center.
