Move to the Expo Theme Pavilion, Reach a New Level

Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China 2011 (FMC China 2011), concurrently with “Furniture China 2011” held in Shanghai New International Expo Center(SNIEC), will be staged alongside FMC Premium at the Expo Theme Pavilion from September 14-17, 2011. FMC PREMIUM is a show especially designed for high-end manufacturers of furniture raw materials & components.

“FMC China 2011” moved to the Expo Theme Pavilion from SNIEC is an inevitable trend of development. In the past years, FMC and Furniture China squeezed each other in SNIEC. SNIEC could not meet the development needs of FMC & Furniture China Exhibition with a short of nearly 150,000 square meters. If it goes, both two exhibitions will lose competitiveness and be vanished in the market.

After moving, FMC will get 79,000 square meters (the exhibition area of FMC China 2010 was 37,000 square meters), meanwhile, the concurrent exhibition, Furniture China will have nearly 80,000 square meters more. The total area of the two shows will be over 350,000 square meters. Since no space limitation existing, both FMC and Furniture China welcome the rapid development, there will be undoubtedly more furniture exhibitors and trade buyers attracted to the Expo Theme Pavilion. (The exhibitors in Furniture China are the targeted visitors of FMC). As for overseas buyers, they, be sure, would prefer an independent, strong, professional FMC show instead of a trade show with no room to develop mixed in a Furniture Fair.

The Expo Theme Pavilion is the Second largest new modern exhibition hall in Shanghai, 200m away from “Chinese Pavilion” of the Shanghai World Expo, which will bring a huge flow to FMC. Moreover, the Metro Line 7 directly connects the two venues (SNIEC and the Expo Theme Pavilion), it is convenient for visitors to go around.  Moving to new venue is an important development phase of FMC, the organizer will invest more on FMC China 2011, making sure all the trade buyers have been well organized and FMC upgraded to a new level.

FMC China 2011 consists of three parts:

I.             Woodworking Machinery & tools  (Hall 1)  25,000 sqm

         The Asian largest column-free exhibition hall, which provides two times larger space than before, has enough room for a delegation of European Woodworking Machinery Association, TWMA, and local woodworking associations

II.          FMC PREMIUM (Hall 2) 17,000 m2

Targeting on high-end furniture components and raw materials products，the Hall 2 will make sure of HIGH quality and comfort style of FMC PREMIUM.

III.        the general Furniture Raw Materials（Hall 3）17,000 m2

In order to help visitors quickly find their interested furniture raw materials products, this hall will be again classified into several thematic area.
