FMC 2009 and FMC Premium 2009 were concurrently held together with “Furniture China”, from September 9-12, 2009 at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center. The shows reached a new milestone, becominge more international and truly “Asia’s Global Furniture Event”.
Furniture China 2009 together with FMC and FMC Premium attracted 2,300 exhibitors from 25 countries & regions taking up 400,000 sqm in exhibition area, making it the third largest furniture show in the world.
FMC 2009 - High-end Exhibitors met High Quality Trade Buyers
FMC and FMC Premium accounted for 630 exhibitors and 36,000 sqm of exhibition area in two indoor halls and eight outdoor halls. Famous brands like HOMAG, NANXING, BASF, JOWAT, AHEC, FRENCHTIMBER, TWMA etcreported strong buyer interest and expressed high satisfaction with the show.
FMC attracted 23,000 domestic visitors from 28 provinces across China including the Hong Kong and Taiwan regions and 3,674 overseas visitors.
Highlights of FMC 2009 - Professional Onsite Activities
FMC arranged a series of seminars and professional activities during the show designed to foster networking and cooperation between domestic and overseas companies.
The cooperation with “China Wood” for the “Legal & Sustainable Furniture Raw Material Forum” held on September 10th proved to be successful. AHEC French Timber presented the latest news and trends on timber availability, classification, and application in China, as well as about the sustainable development of furniture material.
FurnitureInChina organized its 1st face-to-face event - “Professional Buyers Sourcing Event” - which was appreciated by the more than 20 buyers and over 50 registered enterprises.
Outlook - Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China 2010 (FMC 2010)
FMC and FMC Premium 2010 will be next held from September 7 - 10, 2010 at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre.
Major exhibitors from the 2009 edition have already confirmed their exhibition stands for the 2010 show. New exhibitors for machinery especially from Germany, North America and Eastern Europe are expected to join the event. The organizers aim to double the size of FMC and FMC Premium subsequent to the expansion of the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center in the next two years.
