Furniture China 2012 will be the largest ever

Furniture China is the definitive one-stop platform with the best values as a great combination of professional exhibitions, design week, expo store and B2B portal. It is held annually in September in Shanghai including a comprehensive set of popular themes: Home Furniture, Office Furniture, Furnishings, Kitchen and Cabinet, Furniture Manufacturing & Supply.

Under the thriving macro-environment, Furniture China 2012, also one of the biggest international furniture exhibitions in the world, will be opened from 11^th to 15^th September 2012 with 3,000 exhibitors display at 750,000 sq m exhibition area. As its main venue, all 17 halls of Shanghai New Int’l Expo Centre are opened to showcase the latest furniture products by category. Studies indicated that in the coming five years, the

furniture industry in is blessed with great strategic opportunities to keep thriving. It is estimated that in the coming half decade, production value and volume of production of the China furniture industry will maintain the annual rate of growth for about 15%, the export volume for about 12%.

Previously, according to the Circular of the General Office of National Development and Reform Commission on Organizing and Reporting National-Recognized Enterprise Technology Centers in 2011 published by NDRC earlier this year, the China furniture sector, for the first time, was admitted in the key national-recognized area from the perspective of an industry, thus advancing to the leading edge of “technological innovation”.
