A Matter of Trust and Reliability

Good opportunities still exist for those seeking commercial openings in China's leather business, despite the fact that it is highly competitive and, viewed by some, as a 'sunset industry'. China Partners Worldwide Ltd, a company established in 2002, proves the point.

Yoni Fessel, a director of China Partners, explains that "they created their leather division at the early stage of their company to tap opportunities offered by China and Asia". The company's other division is active in chemicals supply.

It's been successful in forging long-term relationships with companies around the world and today leading international suppliers are collaborating with China Partners to support a wide range of tanneries, wholesalers and manufacturers in China, both small and large.

Today the company handles hides and skins of all types; in a choice of raw, wetsalted, drysalted, brinecured, frozen, pickled, wetblue, wetwhite, split, crust and finished leather. Sourcing is organised from Europe, North America, South and Central America, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, China and the Middle East.

 


China Partners have succeeded in establishing themselves in a remarkably short period of time, in a highly competitive industry. The future is bright. "It is clear that the market is changing and we continue to expand our reach to other Asian countries like Vietnam and India but we believe China leather industry still has a great future and this will remain our focus".
